Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, and their three children, James, Albus, and Lily, make their way to King's Cross Station for the start of the new school year. The family pushes trolleys loaded with trunks and owl cages as they approach the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Lily is upset because she is not old enough to go to Hogwarts yet, while Albus expresses anxiety about which house he will be sorted into.
