Harry and Hermione See the Statue of the Potters
Pages 323-324
As Harry and Hermione walk into the center of Godric's Hollow, they pass what appears to be a war memorial. However, when they approach it, the monument transforms into a statue of James Potter, Lily Potter, and a baby Harry. The snow-covered statue of his parents holding their child deeply affects Harry, who stares at their stone faces, imagining what life could have been like if Lord Voldemort had never attacked.
