As they leave Regulus's room, Hermione suddenly remembers a locket they found during their previous visit to Grimmauld Place that no one could open. Harry recalls the incident and realizes that the locket must have been a Horcrux. They rush to Kreacher's cupboard, hoping he had stolen it back after they discarded it.
