As Harry, Ron, and Hermione flee toward the Forbidden Forest, they are surrounded by Dementors. Their Patronuses falter as their despair grows, but they are saved when Luna Lovegood, Ernie Macmillan, and Seamus Finnigan arrive and cast Patronuses, driving the Dementors back.
