Harry regains consciousness lying face down in the Forbidden Forest, surrounded by Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort. The effects of the Killing Curse have left him bruised and in pain. Though disoriented, Harry remains still to maintain the illusion that he is dead, allowing Lord Voldemort and his followers to believe their plan has succeeded.
