Harry Discovers the Name Gellert Grindelwald in the Book

As Harry flips through *The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore*, he finds a photograph of a young Albus Dumbledore with a man identified as Gellert Grindelwald. Shocked, Harry and Hermione realize that Dumbledore had a close friendship with one of the darkest wizards in history. They begin reading a chapter called “The Greater Good,” which details Dumbledore's academic achievements and his relationship with Gellert Grindelwald.
