Hermione Defends Dumbledore, Insisting He Changed
PAGES: 361-362
Hermione tries to defend Albus Dumbledore, arguing that he changed over time and spent his life fighting the Dark Arts. She believes that the young Dumbledore who wrote to Gellert Grindelwald was not the same man they knew. Harry, however, cannot forgive Dumbledore for keeping so many secrets and placing such heavy burdens on him without proper guidance. His anger escalates, and he shouts, venting his frustration about the mess Dumbledore left behind.
