Amycus Carrow tries to break into the Ravenclaw common room, fearing Lord Voldemort's wrath if they fail to capture Harry Potter. As he struggles with the door, Professor McGonagall arrives and offers to help him get in. She answers the eagle knocker's riddle, allowing the door to open. Amycus Carrow enters the room, enraged by the sight of his unconscious sister.
