At breakfast, Harry tells Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley about the letter he sent to Sirius. Hermione reprimands Harry for lying about his scar hurting, arguing that Sirius would be safer knowing the truth. Ron interrupts their argument, trying to keep the peace.
