A Beauxbatons girl, later revealed to be Fleur Delacour, approaches Ron and Harry asking for the bouillabaisse. Ron is speechless and convinced that she must be a Veela due to her beauty. Hermione criticizes Ron's reaction, but several other boys in the Great Hall appear to be just as affected by Fleur's presence.
