Harry, Ron, and Hermione go to the Owlery to send a letter to Percy Weasley, asking if he has seen Mr. Barty Crouch recently, following Sirius Black's advice. They use Hedwig to deliver the letter since she hasn't had a job in a while. Afterward, they head to the kitchens to give Dobby his new socks.
