Fudge arrives in the hospital wing, along with Professors McGonagall and Snape. They inform Dumbledore that Barty Crouch Jr. has received the Dementor's Kiss, leaving him unable to testify. Dumbledore argues with Fudge about Lord Voldemort's return, but Fudge refuses to believe that Lord Voldemort has risen again.
