Realizing that Fudge will not accept the truth, Dumbledore tells him that they must now part ways. He informs Fudge that he will act independently to counter Lord Voldemort, despite the Ministry's refusal to act. Fudge leaves, still in denial, and drops Harry's Triwizard winnings on the table.
