Harry reflects on the Dursleys, his Muggle relatives, who despise magic. They had always blamed him for any problems in the house and had explained away his time at Hogwarts by telling others he attended a school for criminal boys. Harry knows there is no point in confiding in them about his scar or Lord Voldemort, as they would not understand or care.
