Hermione returns to the Gryffindor common room with exciting news—she has passed her Apparition test. However, Ron arrives shortly after, looking dejected. Hermione whispers to Harry that Ron failed due to leaving half of his eyebrow behind. Harry attempts to cheer Ron up by suggesting they take the next test together.
