Snape inspects Harry's bag and realizes that Harry has switched books. He gives Harry detention for every Saturday until the end of term, specifically assigning him to work on old records in the dungeons. Snape takes pleasure in reading out one of James Potter's old infractions, causing Harry great frustration.
