Before leaving, Dumbledore addresses the Dursleys, reminding them that they have failed to care for Harry as he asked fifteen years ago. Dumbledore explains that the protective magic placed on Harry will only last until he turns seventeen, provided he returns to the Dursleys' home one more time before then. The Dursleys are silent, and Harry prepares to leave.
