Dumbledore reveals that Harry has also inherited Kreacher, the Black family house-elf, who is reluctant to accept Harry as his new master. Kreacher repeatedly insists he belongs to Bellatrix Lestrange. Dumbledore urges Harry to command Kreacher to prove his ownership, and Harry reluctantly does so, silencing Kreacher's protests.
