As they head to dinner, Tonks accidentally knocks over a troll's leg umbrella stand, which causes the curtains to fly open, revealing the portrait of Sirius Black's mother. The portrait erupts into a horrifying screech, insulting everyone in the hall until Sirius arrives and helps close the curtains, silencing her. Sirius introduces Harry to his late mother's portrait.
