In a desperate attempt to force Dumbledore to kill Harry, Lord Voldemort possesses Harry's body, causing Harry immense pain. Harry, overwhelmed by the agony, briefly considers giving up, thinking he will be reunited with Sirius in death. However, his love for Sirius and his friends weakens Lord Voldemort's control, forcing him out of Harry's body.
