As Harry watches the night sky, three owls arrive carrying birthday gifts and letters. The large gray owl, Errol, is unconscious from exhaustion and is helped by Hedwig. The third owl, carrying an official letter from Hogwarts, delivers news and gifts from Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid.
