After a successful Patronus lesson, Harry talks to Remus Lupin about the dementors. Lupin explains the Dementor's Kiss, a fate worse than death where the soul is sucked out of a person. Lupin reveals that Sirius Black has been sentenced to this punishment if caught, which leaves Harry shocked.
