After explaining her connection to the diary and how she unknowingly helped Tom Riddle, Ginny is sent to the hospital wing by Albus Dumbledore. He ensures that she will not face any punishment and reassures the Weasleys that no lasting harm has been done. Professor McGonagall leaves to prepare a feast in celebration of the school's safety.
