Ron Weasley's Slug Problem at Rubeus Hagrid's Hut

Harry and Hermione take Ron, who is still vomiting slugs, to Rubeus Hagrid's hut. Rubeus Hagrid comforts Ron and explains that Malfoy's use of the word “Mudblood” is highly offensive. Hermione, confused, learns from Ron and Rubeus Hagrid that it's a derogatory term for Muggle-born witches and wizards. Rubeus Hagrid also criticizes Gilderoy Lockhart, revealing that no one else wanted the Defense Against the Dark Arts position.
