Hermione Granger returns to Gryffindor Tower, now fully recovered from her Polyjuice Potion accident. Harry shows her the diary, and she suggests that it might have hidden powers. She tries using a Revealer and a spell, but nothing happens. Despite this, Harry remains curious about the diary and why someone would throw it away.
