As chaos continues, Rubeus Hagrid runs into the hall trying to stop everyone from attacking the spiders that have joined the battle. Despite Harry's efforts to stop him, Rubeus Hagrid is overwhelmed and carried off by the spiders, vanishing into the darkness.
