Harry Seeks Dumbledore's Guidance
PAGES: 662-663
Harry races through the castle to the headmaster's office, seeking comfort or guidance from Dumbledore's portrait. When he arrives, he finds the office empty, as the portraits of the headmasters and headmistresses have all left to watch the battle. Desperate, Harry retrieves the Pensieve and pours Severus Snape's memories into it, eager to escape into someone else's thoughts and perhaps learn something that can help.
