During the investigation, Severus Snape suggests that Harry should be punished for being in the corridor where Mrs. Norris was found. He insinuates that Harry is hiding something and suggests removing him from the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Professor McGonagall strongly objects, and Albus Dumbledore asserts that Harry is innocent until proven guilty.
